Black History Month Matinee
Based on the beloved Alice Walker book, The Color Purple is a decades-spanning tale of one woman's journey to independence. This is a film adaptation of the Broadway musical and stars Taraji P. Henson, Danielle Brooks, Colman Domingo, Corey Hawkins, HER, Halle Bailey, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, and Fantasia Barrino.
For Black History Month, come to the Central Library's Farish Theater each Tuesday and Thursday for a matinee.
